HUAWEI OSN902 (OSN902 for short) is a WDM transmission platform customized based on Data Center Interconnect (DCI) requirements and mainly applies to DCI scenarios.
OSN902 supports access of 10GE/40GE/100GE services and a maximum single-wavelength capacity of 200 Gbit/s.
OSN902 provides multiple open interfaces. DCI users can perform secondary development to integrate this product's management into data center management systems.

  • Provides OTU4/OTUC2 ports on the WDM side.
  • Uses the frame formats and overhead processing methods defined in ITU-T G.709.
  • Supports the PM function at the ODUk (k = 2e, 3, 4, or C2) layer.
  • Supports the SM function at the OTUk (k = 4 or C2) layer.
WDM specifications Supports ITU-T G.694.1-compliant DWDM specifications.
Tunable wavelength function Supports tuning of the optical signals output on the WDM side within the range of 80 wavelengths in C-band at a 50 GHz channel spacing.

    NOTE:

    RS-FEC is enabled for 100GBASE-SR4 optical modules and disabled for other modules by default.

  • Monitors BIP8 bytes (burst mode) to help locate line faults.
  • Monitors OTN alarms and performance events.
  • Monitors parameters such as the bias current, operating temperature, and optical power of a laser.
  • Supports the Ethernet RMON function.

    • WDM-side channel loopback: The ODU4 channel loopback is supported only when 10GE/40GE services are received and the 200G_16QAM mode is used on the WDM side.
